We have been created in the image of God who has revealed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit — a communion of divine Persons. This is why it is inscribed in our very nature to be in society.  We might even say that this inevitable tendency to be “in relation” is what defines us as human persons.  As Christians, we act as “leaven” in a society that is seemingly obsessed with the “rights” of individuals and very little concerned with the obligations that accompany those rights. “See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are (1 John 3:1).” Let us live as brothers and sisters striving to create a society that reflects our common origin and our common destiny in the Triune God.
